I just received Introduction to Kinesiology: A Biophysical Perspective by Peter Klavora. It was like Christmas in October because I have been looking for a text like this for two years. This book is a perfect fit for our course. I have reviewed it and showed it to several students. It was unanimous—we all agreed that this text satisfied our needs for program-related content and students’ needs for a visually appealing text that is easy to read. I plan to adopt this as a supplemental textbook for one of our spring 2010 courses and as the primary text for the course next fall.
